Event Overview

RSVP on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/events/980359820909603 Join us for a Star Wars-themed concert and interactive experience hosted by three incredible Chico-based non-profits: Maker Radio (94.5FM), Chico Fab Lab, and Chico Creative Reuse. The event will take place on Sunday, May 4th, 2025, at 603 Orange Street, Chico, California, 95928. The venue is accessible via Orange Street and located just north of the intersection with 6th Street.

The event begins at 3:00 PM and concludes at 7:00 PM. This event is designed to be highly immersive, interactive, and inclusive. The event is free, but a $10 suggested donation is appreciated to support the ongoing work of our nonprofit hosts.

Calling All Star Wars-Loving Non-Profits!

We welcome all nonprofits to join this unique opportunity to share your work through a Star Wars-themed lens. Whether it’s a Jedi meditation booth, sustainability through droid repair, or an art-based stormtrooper march—you can table your idea or join an existing creative space. An Epic Star Wars Celebration Awaits!

A convergence of rebels, rogues, makers, and misfits under the twin suns of Chico. As hyperspace lanes open and creativity surges like a Kyber crystal in a lightsaber, the Force calls to YOU. Whether you're a Jedi in training, a crafty Jawa, or a Sith looking to dance and listen to great music you'll find your place here. Music from across the stars will guide you, creative forces will build and bend reality, and the warmth of the Maker spirit will surround you.

This is not just a concert. It is a galactic celebration of imagination, community, and hope. We are not the resistance. We are the spark.

Let the Force guide you through an unforgettable day of music, creativity, and community. May the 4th be with you!

Special Activities

Costume Contest (5pm): Dress to impress and walk the galactic runway! Contestants will strut their stuff in costume at 5:00 PM show. Judging will follow and a winner will be crowned
Light Saber Battle (5:10pm) : A fun and coordinated mock-battle session where participants of all ages can engage in foam lightsaber duels. Lightsabers will be provided, or you may bring your own soft saber. Safety goggles optional but encouraged.
Chico Fab Lab Open House: Tour the makerspace, learn about memberships, see the equipment in action, and discover how you can become part of the creative tech community.
Gallery: Visit the curated art gallery space, which will showcase unique and inspired works from talented local artists. All works are Star Wars-themed or sci-fi adjacent and available for purchase directly from the artists.
Fashion Runway Show (5:45pm): Maddie Corvid special fashion show
- TOTALITY: Soul~Art Eclipse A couture transmission from beyond the veil, a cosmic clash between vision and void. On the evening of May 4th, Maevyn Corvid of Putris Immoderata unveils a triptych of ceremonial looks during a one of a kind show-redefining embodied sculpture and living art. Bleach-dyed vestments, celestial garments, and high-art keepsakes from the far side of the galaxy will be available to collectors and rebels alike.
Bouncy House (3:00-7:00pm)
Creative Zone (3:00 PM – 7:00 PM): Facilitated by Chico Fab Lab and Chico Creative Reuse. You can create your own sci-fi fun items
