The event will take place on Sunday, May 4th, 2025, at 603 Orange Street, Chico, California, 95928. The venue is accessible via Orange Street and located just north of the intersection with 6th Street.
The event begins at 3:00 PM and concludes at 7:00 PM. This event is designed to be highly immersive, interactive, and inclusive. The event is free, but a $10 suggested donation is appreciated to support the ongoing work of our nonprofit hosts.
We welcome all nonprofits to join this unique opportunity to share your work through a Star Wars-themed lens. Whether it’s a Jedi meditation booth, sustainability through droid repair, or an art-based stormtrooper march—you can table your idea or join an existing creative space. Special Activities
Costume Contest (5pm): Dress to impress and walk the galactic runway! Contestants will strut their stuff in costume at 5:00 PM show. Judging will follow and a winner will be crowned
Light Saber Battle (5:10pm) : A fun and coordinated mock-battle session where participants of all ages can engage in foam lightsaber duels. Lightsabers will be provided, or you may bring your own soft saber. Safety goggles optional but encouraged.
Chico Fab Lab Open House: Tour the makerspace, learn about memberships, see the equipment in action, and discover how you can become part of the creative tech community.
Gallery: Visit the curated art gallery space, which will showcase unique and inspired works from talented local artists. All works are Star Wars-themed or sci-fi adjacent and available for purchase directly from the artists.
Fashion Runway Show (5:45pm): Maddie Corvid special fashion show
TOTALITY: Soul~Art Eclipse A couture transmission from beyond the veil, a cosmic clash between vision and void. On the evening of May 4th, Maevyn Corvid of Putris Immoderata unveils a triptych of ceremonial looks during a one of a kind show-redefining embodied sculpture and living art. Bleach-dyed vestments, celestial garments, and high-art keepsakes from the far side of the galaxy will be available to collectors and rebels alike.

Applications are now closed! The muralists will be painting their murals in the lead-up to The Maker’s Muse Street Fair, and the completed works will be presented at the event on March 22nd! Attendees of the Maker’s Muse Street Fair will vote for their favorite mural, and Winner of the people's choice award will receive a $500 cash prize, announced at the event March 22nd.

Featuring World-Class DJs Brace yourself for an incredible musical lineup: Taurus (InStereo Recordings, Portland) A producer and DJ known for his contributions to the house music scene, Taurus has released tracks on InStereo Recordings, collaborating with heavyweights like DJ Dan and Mike Balance on hits like "Sock It To Me." His unique style blends classic house elements with modern production, as heard on tracks like "Old School Vibe." Taurus has also graced stages at events like the Kickin' It Release Party in Portland, delivering electrifying sets that leave audiences wanting more. Ichabod (FreakEasy, Chicago) A staple of the Chicago underground scene, Ichabod's eclectic sets range from deep house to driving techno. Witness the unveiling of The Propulsion Rings, a groundbreaking fire art installation with 24 computer-controlled solenoid valve flamethrowers. This awe-inspiring creation is part of the Kitty Kat Island installation at Love Burn, Miami’s premier art festival. Designed to represent the warp drive of an interstellar spacecraft piloted by Mecha Meowzilla, this fiery masterpiece is the next evolution of Kitty Kat Island’s legendary large-scale art installations. About Kitty Kat Island Known for combining stunning art and top-notch music, Kitty Kat Island has long been a centerpiece of Love Burn. This year, with support from a Love Burn Art Grant, the team is stepping it up with a fiery new offering built by an international team from Mexico City, Chicago, and Chico, CA, at the Chico Fab Lab facility.
